Elvan company is founded by Erhan Saldere in Ankara (capital of Turkiye) in 1999 as a producer of chalk and is making production in its small factory of 600 m2 in Ankara. Elvan production team consists of 9 qualified workers with additional 11 workers in high season.

Main product groups are white and coloured chalk, dustless and healthy chalk produced in European standards. It is proven with the tests made by Düzen Norwest. Whiteboard and chalkboard erasers and chalk pen are other product groups.

Elvan is well known in Turkish market with its quality chalks. As a result of this, Elvan is the supplier of private colleges, universities and private courses. It is also providing the chalks to the public schools and universities by the state supply office (DMO).

It is also exporting its products to the other countries through national companies. But this year, Elvan aimed to start exporting its products to the other countries itself. So export department is formed and they started to promote their products.
